Are attractive people less likely to be convicted of a crime and more likely to get a shorter sentence?
I've posted before on whether criminals are ugly and if a babyface can get you a better result in front of a judge. Here's more proof that justice isn't all that blind:
According to a Cornell University study, unattractive defendants are 22 percent more likely to be convicted than good-looking ones. And the unattractive also get slapped with harsher sentences - an average of 22 months longer in prison. (Source)
