Do all women love shopping?

.

No. Thin women do, heavier women don’t and on average women surveyed were ambivalent.

Daily Mail cites a study:

In general, the thinner women regarded shopping as a pleasurable experience while those on the larger side didn’t enjoy it.

But the average score was three – which means that overall the women were ambivalent about shopping.

Professor Marika Tiggemann of Flinders University in Adelaide, Australia, said the results, published in the journal Body Image, showed shopping was far from fun for bigger women.

‘The difficulty many larger women have in finding clothing that fits and looks good understandably makes shopping for clothes a negative experience,’ she said.
